After a season of sales in which my goal was merely to get a feel for what would (or more importantly would not) sell to the RCR fan-base, I was given the go-ahead to “play with the brand” and expand on the original logo within our merchandise. In addition to this, I;
- Refined the available products (adding some much-asked-for accessories, like a Corps Bear and youth tees)
- Expanded the color palette
- Added in Square retail to maintain and track our inventory as well as streamline our sales process
- Updated the layout of our merchandise tent, which is brought to competition venues throughout the summer
These updates, brought about a 260% increase in sales from the 2016 to 2017 seasons.
